Michael Lemon wasn't cleared to practice with the NC State football team until Aug. 14, about two weeks into fall camp. Yet, there he was out on the field against South Carolina in the season opener Sept. 3. Lemon came through with a big interception at the Gamecocks 40-yard line. He has developed a knack for the timely play this year.
