Avoiding the trap
Coming off what is clearly their best performance of the season, the Kansas Jayhawks (13-0; 0-0) look to be hitting their stride just in time for a difficult ending to the non-conference slate. Wednesday, KU travels back to Lawrence, Kan., to host Cornell (12-2; 0-0), a solid team enjoying a big season. Sherron Collins and top-ranked Kansas destroyed Temple over the weekend and continue to sit atop the top 25 as Big 12 play approaches. Cornell is no pushover, and with another important road came looming, Bill Self needs to keep his players focused in order to avoid the proverbial trap game.
