The recruiting process is all so new to Jake Layman he hasn't even had a chance to really engage it. At least not yet. The forward from Wrentham, Mass., won't have a choice soon with Notre Dame, Boston College and Syracuse showing steady interest. The Irish have had a couple assistants tracking Layman, who not too long ago had a conversation with head coach Mike Brey.
