Huskers pursue another two-sport standout

HuskerOnline.com With Khiry Cooper and Bubba Starling, the Nebraska coaching staff has shown that they will help to facilitate a plan for two-sport recruits to play both football and baseball.
That proven track record is important to Anthony Alford from Petal, Miss., who Nebraska recently verbally offered as a quarterback. Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Southern Mississippi have also stepped forward with verbal tenders.
