Oliver Works Out in Norman Inspite Pain
As talented players from around the country filtered through the University of Oklahoma's campus last week to take part in the Sooners 2011 Football Camp one of the more intriguing guests to participate in Norman was Dallas Jesuit wide receiver Jake Oliver.
Arriving to Norman following a more than successful sophomore campaign the 6-foot-4, 194-pound wide receiver did nothing but solidify his place amongst the best in the class of 2013 during his time on the OU intramural fields even if it was a on bum toe.
"I think I did pretty good.I had a broken toe so that was kind of bothering me. It started nagging me there at the end because I kept planting on it and everything but I think if I would have been 100% I would have done a lot better but I still think I did pretty good for a broken toe and everything," said Oliver, who backed up his gaudy numbers from a year ago in which he made 85 receptions for a total of 1,302 yards and 13 touchdowns.
