Last season Mississippi State dropped a two-point decision to Florida Atlantic playing without two starters.

Tuesday night the Bulldogs found themselves in a similar circumstance playing without Arnett Moultrie and Brian Bryant. However this time the No. 17 MSU survived the scare for a 75-68 victory over the Owls.
