This past weekend, three-star wide receiver Ian Thomas made his third official visit of the recruiting process and has one more scheduled before he will make his college decision. The 6-foot-1, 193-pound Thomas, who plans to announce his choice on national signing day, spent last weekend in Iowa City learning more about the Hawkeyes.

"It was a great visit," said Thomas. "I learned a lot about their program, got along well with the players and coaches while I was there, and got to see how things really work. I got to ask the players any questions I wanted to and got to see the real side of things from their perspective."

Prior to Iowa, Thomas made official visits to Rutgers and Vanderbilt, and has a trip scheduled to North Carolina this weekend.
