Thomas feels at home in Starkville
Columbus, Miss., three-star offensive tackle Jake Thomas has made the short 30-minute drive to Starkville many times to visit Mississippi State.
Thomas was a fixture at games last fall and was back on campus several times this spring to visit the Bulldogs. The 6-foot-6, 305-pounder has been around so much in fact that MSU is starting to feel like a second home.
"I like them," Thomas said. "I've always has a cool relationship over there. You kind of feel at home over there because it's close to home."
The Bulldogs have had some success with Columbus players in the past. Former quarterback Tyson Lee and rising senior offensive guard Tobias Smith are both former Falcons and are players that Thomas watched growing up.
