After securing the commitment of Philadelphia (Pa.) William Penn Charter athlete Daryl Worley today already was an exciting day for the West Virginia coaching staff, but it got even better Monday evening when the Mountaineers landed their second commitment of the day.

Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy wide receiver Daikiel Shorts notified WVSports.com that he has given his verbal pledge to the West Virginia coaching staff on the heels of a productive campus visit Sunday.
