Benton talks Spavital departure, status

WVSports.com West Virginia commitment Newark (N.J.) Shabazz linebacker Al-Rasheed Benton was admittedly a little shocked when he first got word that his lead recruiter quarterbacks coach Jake Spavital was leaving the program for Texas A&M. And WVSports.com caught up with the Rivals.com three-star for his reaction along with his status moving forward.
Benton, 6-foot-2, 220-pounds, didn't hold any hard feelings towards his lead recruiter, who he has developed a very close relationship with, and understands the business side of college football.
