When he set off for a trip through the Midwest over the weekend, Charlotte (N.C.) Catholic running back Elijah Hood considered Michigan to be one of the schools hanging around at the back of his top six. A visit to Michigan (flanked by Notre Dame and Ohio State over a four-day period) helped the Wolverines' case greatly when it comes to Hood's recruitment.
