Hard work has paid off for the Iowa Hawkeyes' basketball staff. They landed a top 50 player in Tyler Smith out of Pulaski, Tennessee, not exactly a Big Ten pipeline.

National basketball analyst Jerry Meyer says Smith should have no problem getting comfortable in Iowa City.
