"I'd say North Carolina, North Carolina State and Virginia Tech are standing out," he said. "I like Virginia Tech because they are a great school that is a football powerhouse. They've been to I believe 13 straight bowl games and I like my recruiter Charley Wiles. He's a cool guy that is down home and likes to fish and go outdoors just like me. He always tells me to come to Virginia Tech so that we can go bass fishing every weekend. I also like coach Beamer. I met him and he's very nice and laid back person."

The No. 23 player in North Carolina plans to visit Virginia Tech along with his other favorites before the season.
