Yesterday freshman WR Sam Shields wowed in the opening fall practice with an acrobatic 80-yard TD grab over Ryan Hill.

Today he impressed again, beating Brandon Meriweather (who was lined up at cornerback) for a long score.

"It was a go route," Shields said. "It was man-to-man. He was on me, I just jumped and caught it."
