If you talk to opponents of Jenks High they know all about Jake Laptad. The tall, rangy, defensive end helped lead Jenks to another state title. His talents and upside attracted attention from college recruiters and one them was Kansas defensive coordinator Bill Young.

Young, who recruits Oklahoma, has been on Laptad for a while and his hard work paid off on Sunday.
