Bruins Take Advantage Of Charity

In a game that went as most expected it to go, UCLA advanced to play Kansas in the regional final on Saturday by grinding out a victory over an experienced and tough Pittsburgh team, 64-55 in San Jose.

As was anticipated, the teams matched up fairly evenly with the exception of the backcourts. Darren Collison and Arron Afflalo outscored the duo of Antonio Graves and Levance Fields, 29-16 on the night, but surprisingly most of the damage done by UCLA's guards took place at the foul line, as the pair combined to go 16-for-16 from the stripe.
