The minute new offensive line coach Rick Trickett was hired, the first order of business was to get his unit to lose weight while getting them stronger. No player faced a bigger uphill battle at reducing his size than freshman Matt Hardrick. According to Hardrick, the first time he weighed in following the hire of Trickett he was checking in around 365 pounds with a body fat of approximately 35-percent.



A lot has changed in the last two and a half months for the mammoth lineman who came to Florida State from Hargrave Military Academy.
