Buffs close out preseason camp
BOULDER, Colo. - With their season opener against Colorado State less than six days away, the Buffaloes officially closed out preseason camp on Sunday morning.
Over the course of the last three weeks, the team completed a total of 38 workouts - including practices, scrimmages and walkthroughs.
"I think we achieved a lot of our objectives and I think we did a good job," head coach Dan Hawkins said. "[We] still [have] a lot of minute details [that we have to sort out between] now and [next] Saturday but I think they've done a good job.
"We had a long laundry list [of things we wanted to accomplish during camp] and I think we're pretty close. We have a lot of young, new and inexperienced guys so I think some of that stuff is still out there but the rest of it I think has been pretty good."
