Koehlmoos on the rise
Pierce (Neb.) athlete Eric Koehlmoos is another Nebraskan who was invited to participate in the U.S. Army Junior All-America combine. The multi-sport standout is already hearing from several Midwestern Division I football programs.
Koehlmoos was instrumental in Pierce's first state football championship season since 1978. For his efforts, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound was named to the Omaha World Herald's All-Nebraska second team, the Lincoln Journal Star's Super State second team, and for the second consecutive season he was a Class C-1 first-team all-stater.
