RALEIGH -- Alex Stepheson and Deon Thompson, two sophomore big men from California, emerged as a huge combination for UNC in the first two games of the NCAA Tournament. The pair combined for 53 points and 22 rebounds in Carolina's first two NCAA Tournament victories.
