Q&A With UNC Coach Larry Fedora - ACCSports.com
Over the next few weeks, we'll be running Q&As compiled from the many interviews we conducted at the ACC Kickoff. We begin with a man who attracted a great deal of media interest in Greensboro, first-year UNC coach Larry Fedora. Fedora was so enthusiastic - and at times, so loud - that at one point Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson looked across the room and quipped "I think Larry's holding a revival over there." Can Fedora revive a UNC program that's bearing the burden of NCAA penalties? He touched on that and more during his time with the media.

Upbeat Fedora keeps Tar Heels plenty hyped - Burlington Times-News
Larry Fedora walked into the Grandville A interview room at the Grandover Resort and took his seat surrounded by about 25 media members for the first ACC Kickoff of his career earlier this week. The new North Carolina football coach wasn't nervous, or at least didn't show it.

Rasheed Wallace fills elder statesman role in summer league - Durham Herald-Sun
When approached for an interview after a recent game at the Greater N.C. Pro-Am, Rasheed Wallace just shook his head no. That answer wasn't surprising. Wallace's indifference toward reporters was immortalized when he kept repeating "both teams played hard" to every question after an NBA playoff game in 2003. Instead, the only shocking aspect of the interaction was that - after talking to his teammates, the opponents, the referees and even the scorekeeper throughout the game - his silent response was the only time Wallace didn't open his mouth.

Tar Heels not worried about bowl ban - FoxSportsSouth.com
North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner would love to play in a bowl game this football season, but he's not complaining that his fellow Tar Heels must sit out the postseason. Fair or not, this group of Heels will have to deal with the NCAA sanctions handed down as a result of the misdeed of the Butch Davis regime.

Tudor: It's no pun, UNC's Fedora orders hats off inside - Raleigh News & Observer
Larry Fedora has spent less time talking about "changing the culture" at UNC than recent Tar Heel coaches. But Fedora is definitely changing the dress code culture. For starters, he's outlawed earrings at football functions and implemented a no caps while indoors policy.

Tigers, Noles and Tar Heels lead preseason All-ACC team - Raleigh News & Observer
Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina had four players each on the preseason All-ACC teams announced by the league on Wednesday.

UNC freshman Cowie officially world's best freestyle soccer player - Raleigh News & Observer
Indi Cowie is the best freestyle soccer player in the world and she has the paperwork to prove it. Cowie was recently named as the FIFA Street World Street Champion for soccer freestyle by World Player of the Year Lionel Messi of Barcelona. She also entered the Guinness Book of World Records by doing 102 heel taps with a soccer ball in a minute. That was all during spring break.
