NCSU: After starting the season 2-of-5 on field goals, PK Niklas Sade has been a perfect 5-of-5 over the last four games.
NCSU: Junior CB David Amerson recorded his 17th career interception in the second quarter vs. Maryland. It was the fourth interception of the season for Amerson, who moved into sole possession of first place in the NC State record books for most career INTs, and also has the most career INTs in the NCAA among active players.
NCSU: When NC State sophomore WR Bryan Underwood scored on a 68-yard TD pass play against Maryland Saturday, it marked the 7th straight game that Underwood has recorded a pass reception for a touchdown. NCSU: Mike Glennon finished with 307 yards passing last Saturday, his 5th career game over 300 yards. Glennon is now third all-time in most career 300-yard passing games at NC State.
NCSU/UNC: North Carolina and NC State will meet this Saturday for the 102nd time in the 118-year old series which began in 1894 in Chapel Hill. The series is the 4th most-played series among ACC teams and is tied for the 6th longest continuous series as the two teams have played every year since 1953.

In his last three games, Bernard has run for 582 yards, an average of 194.0 yards per game, while averaging 7.9 yards per carry. Bernard also ranks 5th nationally in punt return average (17.5) and 4th in all-purpose yardage (199.0).
UNC: WR Erik Highsmith ranks sixth all-time at UNC with 151 receptions. He needs two catches to pass Dwight Jones (152) and move into fifth place and five to move ahead of Corey Holliday (155) and into fourth place.
UNC: Eric Ebron has 467 yards receiving and has moved past Mike Chatham (448 in 1979) as the UNC single-season record holder in receiving yards by a tight end. He currently has 31 receptions and needs five catches to tie Ryan Taylor for most receptions by a tight end (36 in 2010).
