NORTH CAROLINA: In a game that saw an ACC-record 118 combined points scored, the Yellow Jacket prevailed and kept their hopes of a Coastal Division title alive. The teams combined for 1,085 yards while surpassing the previous ACC mark of 110 points set in Virginia's 63-47 victory over Tulane in 1968. Eleven players scored touchdowns. Georgia Tech RB Robert Godhigh rushed for two touchdowns and caught a third. DB Jamal Golden returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score -- his second TD kickoff return of the season -- and backup QB Vad Lee rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns and threw for a third. North Carolina QB Bryn Renner threw two touchdown passes, while RBs Giovani Bernard and A.J. Blue each scored two touchdowns for North Carolina. Final score: Ga. Tech 68, North Carolina 50

UVA: With 349 career tackles, Steve Greer is No. 1 among active ACC players, is tied for No. 8 among active FBS players (Only active BCS player with more career tackles is Notre Dame's Manti Te'o) and No. 9 all-time at UVa.
UVA: With four career 300-yd passing games, QB Michael Rocco trails only Matt Schaub (8) and Aaron Brooks (6) for most in UVa history. Rocco's performance against Miami was only the 38th time a UVa QB has passed for 300 yards or more in program history. In two career games against the Hurricanes, Rocco is 40-of-57 (70.2 percent) for 526 yards and six TDs (zero INTs).
UVA: Since the bye week (Oct. 27), UVa has ammassed 928 total yards over last two games for a 464.0 yards per game average. UVa also has scored 10 offensive TDs.
UVA: Since 1982, the Cavaliers are 15-2-1 when committing fewer turnovers than the Tar Heels. The losses occurred in 1995 and 2001, while the tie was in 1984.
UNC: In just eight games this season, North Carolina sophomore TB Giovani Bernard has already topped the 1,000-yard mark for the second time in his career. Bernard, who totaled 1,253 yards as a redshirt freshman, becomes only the second player in ACC history to have rushed for 1,000 or more yards in his freshman and sophomore seasons joining former UNC standout Amos Lawrence, who has 1,211 yards as a freshman in 1977 and added 1,043 yards as a sophomore in 1978.
UNC: Carolina is averaging 488.7 yards per game, which is more than 40 yards per game more than the single-season school record of 441.8 in 1983.
UNC: QB Bryn Renner has 20 touchdown passes this season. He holds the UNC single-season record with 26 in 2011. Renner is the only player in UNC history to throw 20 or more TD passes in multiple seasons.
UNC: TE Eric Ebron owns UNC's single-season school record in catches (37) and yards (568) by a tight end.
UNC: Carolina is +6 in turnover margin this season, and ranks third in the ACC and 29th in the nation.
