Strengths: Passes the eye test as an NBA prospect and then some with terrific height at 6-9, long arms and a nice frame. Was mostly a pick and pop threat in college, thanks to his mismatch potential at the 4 spot and pretty, high-arching shooting stroke. Shows nice passing skills as he uses his height to see the entire floor. Weaknesses: Williams lacks the footspeed, ball-handling skills and lateral quickness to defend most NBA small forwards, and doesn’t have the size, strength or mentality to be a power forward. His shot selection can be downright atrocious at times. He has a tendency to shy away from contact and float to the perimeter, and he will rarely take the ball strong all the way to the basket.
