Who Could Star in the Future?
The Mailbag is a SoonerScoop.com feature for our fans to get questions that may require a little more depth and clarity of explanation directly from assistant editor Josh McCuistion. Each week we'll field questions for the mailbag and get you all answers at the week's end!
This week's mailbag has a look at numerous topics such as breaking down which schools in Oklahoma have been favorable to Sooner recruiting efforts through the years and which ones haven't quite hit the right note with Oklahoma. Also with it becoming known that Oklahoma is still evaluating a few quarterbacks is there any chance that Kendal Thompson could doubt his role in the Sooners' future? All this and much more in a loaded mailbag!
Where do you see all our current commits being ranked? Where do you think they SHOULD be ranked? And who do you thing is in the best position to move up with a good senior season?
We'll just go man for man with where I feel they will be ranked and where I feel they should be ranked. It should be noted that I'm just taking educated guesses at where these guys will be ranked, as I'm not aware of just where they will be or anything.
Where he will be: I think he'll be a top 250 kid for sure and probably in the top 150.
Where I feel he should be: I think he is a top 100 kind of talent but the fact that he hasn't really been out and let many people get a good long look at him it may hurt his stock a bit. There is no denying that it's easier to go higher with a guy that you've had multiple chances to see and are comfortable with what he is bringing to the table.
Where he will be: I think Chris will probably end up as a 5.6 three-star prospect.
Where I feel he should be: Based on his film that's probably not all that far off. Chris has some athleticism and I've seen it two straight years at the NIKE camp but on film it doesn't shine through. I'm not quite sure what the cause is for that but for whatever reason some of his talent just doesn't translate.
