Patterson makes the most of it

When it comes to college football recruiting, most of the attention goes towards the high school level and it's blue chip prospects.

But junior colleges are an equally important lifeblood to college programs, providing raw players with experience before jumping headfirst into college football as well as giving student-athletes with academic troubles a place to smooth those things out.

But for players like Hutchinson (Kan.) Hutchinson C.C. WR Cordarrelle Patterson it gives them an opportunity to catch the eye of college coaches after going unnoticed at the high school level.
