Junior RB close to BC offer

Recruiting is going along well for David Williams and things should get bolstered again soon because the 2013 running back from Philadelphia (Pa.) West Catholic is expecting to receive an offer from Boston College.

ed but Williams said it will almost definitely happen before his senior year.

"I'm looking forward to getting out there and seeing what it's like," Williams said. "I definitely want to visit.

"I don't know too much about Boston College yet. I don't have any favorites yet. I want to go to all the schools and compare."

Before the Boston College offer, Williams listed offers from Connecticut, Maryland, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Temple and Virginia.

He said Wisconsin, Michigan State and South Carolina continue to show lots of interest and at this point in his recruitment Williams is pleased with how things are going.

Other than a trip to Boston College over the next few months, Williams said he'd also like to see Notre Dame, Wisconsin, South Carolina and Michigan State.

"Everything is going well," he said. "I had a good junior season and now I'm just looking forward to an even better season next year."
