'Oklahoma is the Alabama of the Big 12'

Every summer, during Oklahoma's annual summer camp that is held in June, the talk or debate almost always centers around what one day campers will be offered. This year there was only one offer that was handed out at the camp and that went to Rockwall, Texas 2015 running back, Chris Warren. If the name seems familiar that's no coincidence, Warren is the son of the former NFL star running back of the same name that played for the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles in the 1990s.

Warren Jr. will only be a junior this upcoming season but is already close to the size that his dad played at standing at 6-foot-2 and 215-pounds. His size alone was an attention grabber at the camp but his ability as a ball carrier was obviously impressive as well. Running backs coach, Cale Gundy got his chance to see what the Rockwall star could do during drills and then called over head coach Bob Stoops to get a look as well.

After that the decision was made.

"I found out (about the offer) because coach Gundy had brought coach Stoops over to the drills," Warren began.
