Glenn Carson: A gem in the class of 2009

It won't be long before the recruiting battles begin heat up for the top players in the Class of 2009. Coaches have already started to turn their attention to the young talent that will lead them into tomorrow. Coach Greg Schiano hasn't had to look very far to find one of those talents. LB Glenn Carson, 6-foot-3 and 220-pounds, of Manahawkin (NJ) Southern Regional is already gaining a lot of recruiting attention, particularly from the eyes of the Scarlet Knights.

Donohue seemed as though he would not object in the slightest way if Carson opted to attend school in Piscataway.

Carson also has ties to one of Rutgers' incoming freshman. Carson lost to Alex Silvestro in last year's 215-pound state wrestling championship. Carson, a sophomore at the time, lost by a mere one point. His talents on the football field extend even farther than they do on the mat.
