Bulldogs pack big bite

Coach Ray Woodard and the Navarro Bulldogs came into 2007 with high expectations. They started slow but ended with a bang knocking off Blinn twice in two weeks,SWJCFC regular season champ Kilgore in the SWJCFC Championship Game, and Georgia Military in the Pilgrim's Pride Bowl.

Once again college coaches raided the cupboard with quarterback Jeremy Sanders and linebacker Donald Booker heading to the Big 12 signing with Baylor and Oklahoma St. Then there was tight end Gerald Harris who signed with Ole Miss, and J'Marcus Webb who inked with Arizona.

Look for college coaches to once again return to Navarro to fill out their 2009 classes. In fact two prospects already hold offers.
