Versatile lineman high on Auburn
Knoxville (Tenn.) Catholic's Daniel Hood isn't your typical "athlete", at least not when it comes to recruiting.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pounder didn't have any receptions last year. He didn't throw any passes, intercept any either, rush for 2,000 yards, or return any kicks or punts for touchdowns.
But Hood is an athlete. And one school, at least, agrees.
Auburn, always in the hunt for versatile linemen, offered Hood a scholarship early in the process. Defensive lineman? Offensive lineman? Hood said the Tigers don't care.
