Bruins looking good to four-star

It is not a big mystery that UCLA is scouring the entire nation in search for the best offensive line talent. It appears that they are making progress with one if the best from the eastern region. The Bruins, it seems have a pretty good shot at this player. They were close from landing a player from this school just last season and may have done so if not for the unstable coaching situation the Bruins were in last December.

The player in question is four-star offensive tackle Eric Shrive (6-7, 285, 5.1) from Scranton (Pa.) West Scranton. The talented offensive lineman has a plethora of offers on the table from the likes of Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina State, Virginia, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Notre Dame.

The next question after perusing a list like that is, does UCLA actually have a chance at landing such a prospect?

"Eric is very interested in UCLA," Mike DeAntona said. "Coach Chuck Bullough was in last week and UCLA's offensive line coach, Bob Palcic is coming in on Monday.

"Eric is trying to figure out a way to take an unofficial visit to UCLA during the summer."
