Kelly the playmaker

Jaguars are animals that are built for power and speed. This too is true for Flower Mound, Texas star receiver James Kelly. Kelly stands at 6'2", 200 pounds, runs a blazing 4.5 40-yard time. This along with his great playmaking ability has drawn the attention of college coaches.

"I'm a playmaker, I make the big plays," James said. "We have a lot of good experience returning this year and it showed this spring as we were able to start throwing the ball more down field." This will be no problem for Kelly, whose nickname is "Go Getter." "That's just my nickname because I do just that; get the ball."

The deep threat that Flower Mound has found is due to their exhaustive schedule over the summer, attending several 7-on-7 camps and tournaments to further season their young quarterback. "We have to get two guys ready for the season so there will not be a major decline should Brandon (Colquitt ) leave a game for any reason," offensive coordinator Bo Wasurick said. "It's important to have some stability in that position." This new found threat though could be somewhat limited this season though due to a young and inexperienced offensive line.

James is on his way to being fully qualified having already scored an 18 on the ACT, and having a 2.7 GPA. Currently Fresno State has shown interest, while ULM has extended an offer.
