Sleeper about to go big time

One of the biggest reasons that big time players fly way under the radar year in and year out is because the prospect transferred from one school to another getting lost in the shuffle in the process.

That is why safety/wide receiver/kick returner Gary Walker (6-0, 185, 4.53) from Redlands (Calif.) Redlands East Valley (REV) may be the best player you haven't really heard about until now.

Walker was playing for Rialto (Calif.) Eisenhower a year ago so his junior tape didn't get out, but now as a senior he is playing lights out and colleges are beginning to take notice.

This talented athlete is one of the main reasons that REV is off to a perfect 4-0 start and is one of the best teams in the very powerful Inland Empire.

"Gary is the first guy to play both ways for us (REV) in a very long time," REV head coach Kurt Bruich said. "He's that special."
