A Closer Look: Boston College

The Tar Heels have been off the court for a week now after going down to Syracuse 57-45 last weekend, in what as their lowest point total under Roy Williams.

Now, the Tar Heels are looking for answers and are looking for them fast, as the Tar Heels have found themselves at the bottom of the ACC with a winless record in conference at 0-3.

The Tar Heels now welcome in the Boston College Eagles to Chapel Hill, as they are coming off also a loss to Syracuse this past week.

However, the Eagles, who are 5-12 on the season, were oh so close to pulling a huge upset against the Orange, as they led midway through the second half before Syracuse took control and won 69-59.

Even though the records may look completely different, these two teams are in the same position in conference play.

Boston College has played a brutal schedule so far this season, making it number three in the country with strength of schedule.

This is a team that is made mostly of juniors on the team and a team that can pose issues for the Tar Heels this coming Saturday.

No doubt about it though, the talk has been around the recent drop in the Tar Heels, as they find themselves in a territory they aren't quite use to.

But the season is long but over and a solid win against Boston College could be the start the Tar Heels need to get back on track.

Let's take a look at the numbers of the Boston College Eagles in our latest "Closer Look."
