Last year, the Deacons struggled throughout the year but have quietly had success early this season with a 10-3 mark coming into the game.
The Deacons are coming off a road loss to Xavier, losing 68-53 last week. Now, the Tar Heels travel across the state to face a team they have defeated the most in the ACC.
Wake Forest has had a decent wins over Richmond in overtime and Southern California, while also playing against teams like then #2 Kansas, Tennessee, and Xavier.
But everything changes in ACC play, as the teams are familiar with one another more and teams know that anyone can beat any team on a given night.
The Tar Heels hope to open their ACC play with a win, while the Demon Deacons look to change their program around with a Top 25 win against Roy Williams and the Tar Heels.
Lets take a closer look at the Demon Deacons, as there are several areas against this team that could provide troubles for the Tar Heels on the road.
