It seems like it has been ages since we have been able to focus on high school recruiting. COVID-19 played havoc with the grassroots basketball scene. Last season there were no AAU shoe circuit events, very few nationally run camps, and no GEICO National National Championship event.

Things are beginning to get back to normal as the latter begins later this afternoon at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Ft. Myers, Florida.

For any North Carolina basketball fan who is either having recruiting withdrawals or is interested in potential future Tar Heels, this is an tournament worth watching. The games will be shown Wednesday through Saturday on the ESPN network.

This is not a final list of who Roy Williams will be involved with. There will be plenty of underclassmen in this event that you will hear linked with the Tar Heels in the future. But this is a tally of names we have heard up till now. Here is a closer look at who to keep an eye on.
