Cameron Roseman-Sinclair, a class of 2020 athlete for Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC, was back in Chapel Hill taking in the Tar Heels’ loss to Miami.

"The trip was great and the game experience was family oriented," the 6-2, 185 pounder told THI. "The coaches that I spoke with were wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer, who talked more about the day and just having fun, and laughing. I sat down and spoke with Coach Larry Fedora, we had a great conversation about what the school has and it was just a great feeling especially because my mom got to meet them."

Even though it’s early, Roseman-Sinclair says his relationship with Brewer is special and is having an effect on how he vies UNC as a long-term option.

"Coach Brewer is an upbeat guy, who always keeps it honest with you and really treats me and my mother like family, ever since the first day I met him," he said.

The coaching staff has an idea on where they see Roseman-Sinclair projecting on the college level. He says as a “true safety/strong safety."

Thus, it stands to reason Roseman-Sinclair holds the UNC program in high esteem even with this season’s struggles.

"My thoughts on UNC football are nothing but great," he said. "People think that this season’s record would make me think otherwise, but it doesn't since I have so much time to figure out things. The program has so much to offer not just on the football level, but great on the academic level as well."

Kentucky, South Carolina and Maryland have offered, but Roseman-Sinclair says UNC and Virginia are the two schools that are recruiting him the hardest at the moment.

Other than maybe another return trip to Chapel Hill, Roseman-Sinclair has his sights set on checking out Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Kentucky down the line.
