Thursday night was a night of dreams for former North Carolina defensive lineman Quinton Coples, as he was taken with the No. 16 overall selection of the 2012 NFL Draft by the New York Jets in famed Radio City Music Hall, with many members of his family onhand.
New York head coach Rex Ryan was the only NFL head coach who made his way to UNC's Pro Day back in late March. Coples will have a chance to thrive in New York's 3-4 defensive scheme, where he'll likely be used as a pass rushing defensive end and possibly as an outside linebacker on occasion.
