Seven members of North Carolina's class of 2017 enrolled in early January, the rest are sending in their signed letters of intent today, Wednesday, February 1.

Check back with THI as we roll out the class as the LOIs arrive at UNC.

Malik Robinson says:

“The facilities are great, the campus, the atmosphere, and the academic support system they have is great… I’m a Tar Heel.”


Antwuan Branch says:

"Energy, intensity, and thunder. Go Heels.”

"I'm a very versatile every down back. I can catch the ball, and have to ability to break tackles and go all the way."


Kayne Roberts says:

"I think I'll bring a rare personality to D1 football where I'm not a primadona. I'm just a simple guy from a simple town, that loves to play some hard hitting football."

Billy Ross says:

Jordan Tucker says:

“How much they have to offer for academics and how they help us players balance everything… ,” He (OL coach Chris Kapilovic) said if I came in and worked hard he could see me getting time to play at tackle next year.


HERE ARE THE EARLY ENROLLEES THAT CAME IN ON JAN. 8.

Combined for 3,345 all-purpose yards, including 2,536 rushing yards, and scored 45 touchdowns as a senior.

Gill had 84 tackles, 34 for loss and 18 sacks as a senior,

Caught 60 balls for 981 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior.

Lawler had 65 tackles, 20 for a loss of yardage and 10 sacks as a senior.

Melton missed his entire senior season, and was rated a Top 60 player in his class before the injury.

Helped lead Cedar Grove to the GHSAA Class AAA state title, the school’s first championship. Scored twice in the state title game.

Played multiple positions on the defensive line, but missed the first five games of his senior season with a foot injury.

Quiron Johnson Offensive Line 6-1 305 Fr. Reidsville, N.C. (Reidsville)

An early enrollee, Johnson is a walk-on and does not have a Rivals bio.

Helped lead Reidsville to a 16-0 record and the school’s 19th state 2A championship as a senior. Anchored an offensive line that helped the Rams average 52.1 points per game.
