GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP, ACSMA) - The Atlantic Coast Conference released its All-ACC Football teams Monday, and nine Tar Heels made either the first or second teams.
Sophomore Giovani Bernard was named to the first team as a running back and a specialist.
He was joined on the first team by guard Jonathan Cooper, linebacker Kevin Reddick and defensive tackle Sylvester Williams.

Defensive end Kareem Martin, offensive tackle James Hurst, tight end Eric Ebron, place-kicker Casey Barth and punter Thomas Hibbard made the second team.
Offensive guard Travis Bond, safety Tre Boston, quarterback Bryn Renner, cornerback Tim Scott and offensive tackle Brennan Williams earned honorable-mention honors.
There were no unanimous first-team selections, though Bernard received 45 of 46 first-team votes from voting members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association.
Florida State junior defensive end Bjoern Werner was the only defensive player to receive either a first- or second-team vote.
Werner, one of four Seminoles on the first-team defense, received 43 first-team votes, while Clemson junior quarterback Tajh Boyd, who was one of six Clemson players on the first-team offense, received 41 first-team votes.
Bernard led the ACC with 1,228 rushing yards, 19 total touchdowns and 114 points this season. He made the first team as a running back and specialist.
He finished the regular season first in the country in punt returns with a 16.4 return average and two touchdowns. He had 1,981 all-purpose yards.
Cooper, a native of Wilmington, N.C., is a finalist for the Outland Trophy, which is presented annually to the nation's top interior lineman. Carolina set school records this season in total offense, scoring and passing yards.
Reddick was a four-year starter at middle linebacker who finished with 85 tackles and led the ACC with 18.5 tackles for losses.
Williams transferred to Carolina after two years at Coffeyville Community College, and became an instant starter. He started every game in his two-year career and had 42 tackles, 13.5 tackles for losses and 6.0 sacks this year.
