Recent Commit Roberts Had Great Official Visit

This past weekend Greenback (TN) athlete Kayne Roberts took in the sights and sounds of North Carolina for the first time as a committed prospect.

The 6-3, 195 pounder was offered by UNC Coach Larry Fedora on December 3rd and immediately knew that North Carolina was the place for him, picking the Heels over offers from Army, Coastal Carolina, and Tennessee Tech.

THI caught up with Roberts, who took his official visit to UNC this past weekend. Here is out interview:

How was your visit?

Roberts: The visit was better than I thought it would be.

What did you like most about the visit ?

Roberts: I think what I liked most about the visit was the amount of time

I got to talk to the coaches and build a better relationship with them.

Did the staff have you spend any additional time with some uncommitted prospects if so who?

Roberts: No, the staff didn't ask me to, but I got to hang out with some of the guys.

What did you think of the basketball game?

Roberts: I have never seen a fan base get as lit as North Carolina fans.

Did you learn anything new about UNC on this trip?

Roberts: I learned more about the education side of things.

Do you have any other visits coming up, or are you rock solid with UNC?

Roberts: I'm a Tar Heel, that's it.
