Butch Davis would give minutes-long answers, imparting more information than anyone would even want. While not as talkative, Everett Withers volunteered information, such as the weekly injury report, before reporters could even ask about it. But Larry Fedora has a completely different attitude, treating every question as if the upcoming opponent's staff had planted it in an effort to gain some sort of advantage on Saturday.

Turns out all that Bryn Renner talk before the season about being ready to run the Tar Heels' new offense because he ran a similar one in high school wasn't just talk. The junior's probably been one of the most consistent things about UNC during its wildly inconsistent start and is on pace to surpass his numbers from last season: 270-of-432, 3,573 yards, 33 TD and 9 INT, with a little dip in efficiency from 159.44 to 153.02.
