North Carolina starters Bryn Renner, Jheranie Boyd, and Gene Robinson spoke with Tar Heel Illustrated on Monday, as the Tar Heels (5-3 overall, 1-3 ACC) start game week preparations for Saturday's in-state ACC showdown with Wake Forest.
The Demon Deacons (5-2 overall, 4-1 ACC) are having their best season since the 2006 ACC championship squad, and they've beaten North Carolina the last two times the two century-old rivals have met on the gridiron. UNC hasn't beaten Wake Forest since 2004, and they haven't beaten them at home since 2003.
