Charlotte, NC, 4-star class of 2020 safety Cameron Roseman-Sinclair is one of the top prospects in the state and thus far has racked up offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Maryland, Louisville, Kentucky, Wake Forest and North Carolina among others.

The 6-1, 195-pound defensive back from Myers Pak High School is no stranger to Chapel Hill, he’s been on campus several times over the past few years, therefore he’s familiar with the campus, academics and the football program and everything UNC.

“They’re a great fit,” he told THI. “The program has so much to offer not even just on the football level but great on the academic level as well.”

Despite not making it to campus this summer, he has been in regular contact with his area recruiter and Tar Heels’ secondary coach Tommy Thigpen.

“Things are going well with UNC and coach Thigpen, “he said. “He (Coach Thigpen) is a great coach who really shows that he cares and will always be real with you.”

Roseman-Sinclair had a breakout sophomore season, which propelled him to being the No. 76 overall player in the Rivals.com rankings in the rising junior class.

So with the high school season here, what goals are on Roseman-Sinclair’s chart for this fall?

“I want to finish with 80-plus tackles, eight interceptions and three forced fumbles as well as be all conference, all state and all region,” he said.

This fall, he’s looking forward to visiting Chapel Hill and get more familiar with UNC’s defensive scheme and learn more about life as a UNC student-athlete.

“I just want to see the vibe from the players and their base defense, because I already know UNC is a great school academically, so I just wanna see how I would fit,” he said.

Aside from North Carolina, he is also likely to visit Virginia Tech this season.
