If you are a regular at Tar Heel Illustrated, the name Brandon White is no stranger to you.

The 4-star center from Spencer, NC, was already well known throughout the state and region, but a hot recruitment has suddenly made him a must-see prospect on the national scene.

Many in the recruiting world stood up and took notice in November when he picked up offers from Maryland and North Carolina State in a matter of days. Tulsa also offered last month. They joined East Carolina, Houston, South Florida, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and Western Kentucky.

White now attends Winston Salem Christian School. We spoke with his head coach, Antonio Lowe, Thursday night, and he said the cloud of attention is not a new thing for his 6-foot-10 big man.
