UNC True freshman defensive end Tomon Fox suffered a serious knee injury in practice Thursday and is out indefinitely, multiple sources close to the situation have confirmed to THI.
Fox, who played nearly 80 snaps in Carolina’s first two games versus Georgia and at Illinois, is expected to have surgery soon, but at this time it isn’t certain if he’s out for the season. As per its policy, UNC only releases injury information on players who are out for the season, and at this time the program is not prepared to do that.
Fox, 6-3, 235, is a native of Lawrenceville, GA, and played at Collins Hill High School.
