Cade Fortin, a 3-star quarterback from North Gwinnett H.S. in Suwanee, GA, committed to play football at North Carolina on Thursday evening.
Fortin has been committed to Texas A&M, but decommitted Sunday. UNC head coach Larry Fedora and QB Coach Keith Heckendorf had an in-home visit with Fortin on Wednesday night and 24 hours later he committed to becoming a Tar Heel.
Fortin, who camped at UNC two summers ago, which included attending Heckdorf's QB Academy, committed to UNC during his official visit Thursday.
