After winning at Hawaii by 18 points last Friday night, North Carolina fell two spots to No. 12 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 rankings.

The Tar Heels used multiple runs in the second half to pull away from the Rainbow Warriors on their floor giving UNC two true road games already. But they were jumped by Marquette to No. 10 and Duke to No. 11 after both teams earned impressive victories during the week.

Hubert Davis’ team is 3-1 with the lone loss by three points at No. 1 Kansas, and it begins play Monday night in the loaded Maui Invitational against Dayton at 11:30 PM EST. Regardless of the outcome, the Tar Heels will face either No. 4 Auburn or No. 5 Iowa State on Tuesday, and then one of either UConn, Michigan State, Memphis, or Colorado on Wednesday.

UNC’s next game after returning from Hawaii is at home against Alabama on December 4 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge.

Here is this week’s AP Top 25.
