Tar Heels with the last name "Williams" have had a pretty significant impact on North Carolina basketball, especially over the last quarter century. Kenny Williams, who announced this past weekend he's headed to Chapel Hill, will be the eighth UNC basketball player ever named Williams.
Aside from Lloyd Williams, each of the others have played over the last 29 years dating back to California native Scott Williams' freshman season in 1986-87. An interesting nugget is that each of the last four Williams' recruited to play at UNC have wither been to multiple Final Fours or won a national championship. So, here is UNC's all-time Williams team:

Scott Williams (1986-90) - The 6-foot-10 Californian arrived at UNC in the same class as J.R. Reid, the top-rated prospect in the nation. Williams was a more than solid player at UNC, averaging 10.9 points and grabbing 6.2 rebounds for his 138-game career. Williams' best season was as a senior when he averaged 14.5 points and 7.3 rebounds. He played 15 seasons in the NBA and won three world titles with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
Donald Williams (1991-95) - The 6-2 sharpshooter from Garner, NC, was the MOP of the 1993 Final Four after hitting 10 of 14 3-point attempts as the Tar Heels won the national championship. Williams averaged 11.8 points per game in his career, shooting 38.6 percent from beyond the arc, but that's after barely playing as a freshman and scoring 2.2 points per game that season. His last three years Williams averaged 14.3, 14.3 and 15.5 points per game.
Shammond Williams (1994-98) - The 6-3 combo guard is remembered as one of the hardest working players in Carolina history who made himself into an NBA player. Williams only scored 1.7 points per contest as a freshman, but was at 14.1 as a junior and 16.8 as a senior, finishing with an average of 10.8 per game to go with 393 career assists. He played in three Final Fours and spent parts of seven different seasons in the NBA.
Jawad Williams (2001-05) - A 6-9 forward whose game extended from the basket each season he was in Chapel Hill, Williams was a starter on the 2005 NCAA title team, averaging 13.1 points and 4 rebounds that season. For his career, Williams, whose best season was as a sophomore (14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds), averaged 12.7 points and 4.8 rebounds. The Cleveland native played in 90 games over three NBA seasons.
Marvin Williams (2004-05) - The athletic 6-9 forward from Bremerton, WA, was the first one-and-done Tar Heel of the era, but his only season was a championship, as Williams was the sixth man for the '05 national champs. Williams averaged 11.3 points and 6.6 rebounds that season. He just completed his 10th NBA season in which he has averaged 10.4 points and 5.1 rebounds for his career.
